As most of you know, we do mini sessions twice a year and they’re big, multiple day events that typically book up just as fast as we announce them! I’ve had the passing idea to do mini sessions more frequently throughout the year but didn’t want to overwhelm clients with options nor be known as just a mini-session photographer. Because there is a time for a mini session, and there are times for full sessions and it’s the full sessions that allow us to truly express our creativity, connect with clients and capture those amazing milestones and moments.
So with interest peaked for a Valentine’s Day Mini, we offered these up to our 2013 newborns as a way to capture their first Valentine’s Day. Just a short and sweet session to capture one of the few “firsts” since they pass so quickly! It was quite challenging to put together a set that still sticks to our simple and timeless style but I was able to scrounge up enough props and crafts to pull it all together with about 12 hours to spare before the first session! Thank goodness I work well under pressure 😉
These little cuties sure didn’t disappoint as it was a fun day moving quickly between props and pulling foam hearts out of little mouths 🙂 Here’s just a peek at the adorableness that ensued! And yes, I’m contemplating Easter minis in just a few months! What do you think?
