It’s hard to believe that our handsome, energetic, entertaining and sometimes flat out annoying dog is 6 years old! While I’d love to say he’s grown and matured into a fine young dog, there are days still days where that statement is far from the truth. He still gets into things, counter surfs and gets sick randomly in the middle of the night. But at the end of the day, he still greets us with a wagging tail and a wet nose.
It’s been a while since I’ve taken his picture since he gets really annoyed when the camera is around! He was a bit scarred by his paparazzi parents using him as a model when first learning how to use their cameras. But these were taken back in March, during our week of summer weather . He was so happy to be basking in the warm temperatures that he didn’t put up much of a fight.
With the temperatures in the 70s, we left our side door open so Apollo could get fresh air as he needed. I came out of the office (just a few feet away from where this was shot) and found him with one of his many sticks. He grabs a new one every time we go outside but he’s never allowed to take them in the house. So he must “leave it” by the side door and that is where they accumulate. Though he rarely picks those back up! He’s a strange one I tell you.
Still loves to get dirty…
My dopey dog 🙂
Love how perfectly imperfect this one is.
Per usual, he took his freedom a little too far so we decided it would be best to tie him up.
And we brought out an old bath mat for him to lay on. He’ll roll in the dirt, but he won’t lay in it. Indoor dog. He lives the high life I tell you!
But how could you say no to a face like that!?! And yes, that’s his white goatee. We call the look, distinguished 🙂
Stay tuned for pictures from Apollo’s cake smash session! What, did you think we’d let the babies have all the fun?!
